Shufta a Kashmiri sweet dish



My today's craving is Shufta

Ingredients

1) paneer 250gms cut into cubes
2) ghee
3) almonds
4) coconut
5)kishmish
6) sugar syrup
7) lime juice.


Method: fry paneer in ghee till light golden brown, then make sugar syrup , soak almonds and take out the peel , cut coconut into pieces and also kishmish all the ingredients one bowl.

now put the fried paneer in sugar syrup add almonds, coconut and stir, now add raisins ( kish mish) keep stiring after some time add saffron and keep stiring until thick and caramelized. switch off the stove and garnish with elaichi powder and one tsp lime juice. let it cool serve.
